Cloud 9 is Fiji’s first and only two-level floating platform with an internationally stocked bar and Italian wood-fired pizzeria surrounded by turquoise blue water and picturesque views. 9:00 AM: Departure from Marriott Nadi or surrounding areas for the boat location.
9:45 AM: Arrival at the boat location and boarding of the private boat.
10:15 AM: A scenic boat ride to Cloud 9.
11:00 AM: Arrival at Cloud 9. Spend the day at this unique ocean bar and enjoy the various offerings such as snorkeling, sunbathing, and wood-fired pizzas.
2:00 PM(for half-day) or 5:00 PM (for full-day): Depart Cloud 9 by boat, returning to the mainland.
2:45 PM or 5:45 PM: Arrive at the boat location and begin the drive back.
3:30 PM or 6:30 PM:Return to Marriott Nadi or surrounding areas.
Cloud 9 Ocean Bar
Cloud 9, which opened its doors in 2013, initially drew surfers seeking the nearby waves but now attracts a more diverse clientele, including young couples, groups, and families.
This floating two-level platform is made of mahogany, raintree, and pine sits in the shallow waters of the Mamanuca Islands, just west of Viti Levu, Fiji’s largest island.
Powered by solar energy, Cloud 9 offers spaces for relaxation with daybeds and deckchairs and has a lower deck featuring a bar and kitchen.
The venue is known for its wood-fired pizzas and offers activities like snorkeling, with equipment available for hire. It’s a favored spot for those wanting to enjoy the crystal-clear ocean waters and is famed for its DJ sessions, which draw talent globally. Cloud 9 is part of the Mamanuca archipelago, known for its party resorts and the iconic uninhabited Monuriki Island, the filming location for “Cast Away”.
