how saravanua was founded
The name Saravanua, which is also my family name, honors my great grandfather. For a long time, I didn’t focus on the significance of ‘Saravanua’ in Fijian, which translates to ‘explore different places’—akin to a tourist. As the Nahau people and rightful custodians of the land, we were privileged to have the Marriott Momi Resort established on our territory. A part of the contractual benefits was to provide transportation services for us, the landowners which in turn secures a future for our families generations. This initiative was the genesis of ‘Saravanua Transfers and Tours.’ which we hold with deep pride. As our journey starts, we strive to honour our family name and provide the best customer satisfaction to all our clients.
